Emma TaylorEmma is a qualified Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with a Bachelor of Social Work (University NSW, 1990) and Master of Business Management (Monash University, 2002).
Emma is a member of the Australian Association Social Workers, with mental health accreditation and is a registered practitioner with Medicare Australia, VVCS, Workcover NSW and Victims Support. Emma most recently worked at Western Sydney University (WSU) (20212-2024) managing the Mental Health and Wellbeing Team and coordinating the WSU Mental Health and Wellbeing Strategy. Her clinical experience is diverse and includes working as a professionally qualified social worker for more than 30 years in mental health and wellbeing, across the sectors of health, education and in not-for-profit organisations. Emma's skills include specialising in trauma informed practice, relationship, couple and family therapy, systemic practice, interpersonal and cognitive behavioural therapy, mindfulness training, narrative therapy, and clinical supervision and culturally responsive practice and competency. Emma currently offers counselling and clinical supervision services in the Southern Highlands, NSW Australia. Emma provides workplace training, support and organisational development, focussed on wellbeing. Tennant Creek (N.T), Taranaki New Zealand, London, Nottingham Trent University, Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra, Regional NSW and Regional Victoria are some of the locations professional roles have taken Emma since professional qualification in 1990. |
